You can delete your Dawar account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open Dawar and sign in
Use the account you want to delete.
- Go to the Profile tab
Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap “Delete account”
Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap Delete account.
- Confirm
A dialog warns that this permanently removes your account and data. Tap Delete to confirm. You'll be signed out once it's done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your personal data from Dawar, including:
- Your profile (name, phone, city, email/username) and sign-in.
- Your saved vehicles, favourites and cart.
- Orders you placed.
- If you're a seller: your shop, listings, leads, and related messages and reviews.
Some limited records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them, or to resolve an open dispute and prevent abuse. What we keep, and for how long, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Can't access the app?
If you can no longer sign in, you can request deletion and we'll process it for you:
- Email support@dawar-app.com from the email on your account, or include your registered phone number, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- We may verify your identity (for example, via your registered phone number) before deleting, to protect your account.
- We process verified deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible after confirming your identity.
Heads up: deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. Use the in-app Delete account option (or the request above) to remove your data.
